Dandelion root may stimulate the secretion of gastric and pancreatic juice, thanks to which it may improve digestive processes. It can stimulate the secretion of bile by the liver and its excretion through the gallbladder, which is why it is used in the treatment of appetite and digestive disorders as well as liver disorders.

Dandelion can regulate bowel movements and may have a positive effect on the balance of the intestinal flora.

Dandelion root can lower blood sugar levels and act against atherosclerosis.

Thanks to the high content of polyphenols, dandelion is a strong antioxidant, it is also recommended for the treatment of skin disorders

Although dandelion is generally considered a safe plant, there are several contraindications to its use. These are:
