How to make homemade elderberry syrup
Ingredients:
1 cup of dried elderberries
1 teaspoon of dried ginger
2 tablespoons of cloves
1 and ½ cups of honey
6 glasses of water
- Pour the fruit into cold water, bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Drain the fruit and put the pot on the fire.
- Add ginger and cloves and cook for about 50 minutes.
- Strain and cool to 85-100F.
- Add honey and mix thoroughly.
Use 2 teaspoons every 3 hours as soon as you feel an infection catching you.
